When asked about his career as a film director, Steven Spielberg said, “I dream for a living.” That simple statement captures precisely how I envision my own life.
Creativity has ushered my collaborative and teachable spirit throughout my career. Under my Creative Coordinator title at Regent University, I oversaw the administrative and editorial duties for the production of over 200+ hours of narrative content for social media. During my time as a member of the Creative Team in Regent University’s Marketing and Public Relations department, I continued to grow my skills in brand expansion through overseeing production shoots and editorial responsibilities for integrated marketing campaigns and paid media strategies. I also filled my time writing/directing and editing short films, including leading a production consisting of 50+ students rounding out the cast and crew. In June 2021, I joined Angel Studios as a Development Intern, where I was challenged to create original content for the largest crowd-funded television series The Chosen. In this role, I wrote and provided coverage for promotional scripts and teleplays from the series, and assisted in the development and editing of streaming content to draw younger audiences to Angel Studios and The Chosen. I most recently served as a Production Assistant for The Chosen, working directly with the production’s Event Producers & Staff. At Kingdom Story Company, I assist in the editing of the company's social media marketing materials and podcast The Storytellers with Andrew Erwin, as well as help lead the internship program, and help out with whatever is need from me with the company's CEO, Kevin Downes. These opportunities have been a home for my creative development, storytelling, and leadership skills, and have helped to hone my ten years of editing experience, primarily in Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve. My first animated short film, Jennie, has won a number of awards, including Best Picture and Best Original Score at the Florence Film Awards in Florence, Italy. I'm currently producing and co-directing a brand new animated short film, Motion, that combines hand drawn and 3D animation with a team of over 88+ creative leaders, animators, and musicians. My heart is to foster, create, and cultivate diverse and beautiful stories that impact not just our world, but the vast communities within.
I graduated from Regent University in May 2022 with a B.A. in Cinema and Television. In October 2022, I started a position at Kingdom Story Company in Franklin, TN as an Administrative Assistant.
